Sad news & a break in posting

 Hello everyone,

Thank you for visiting my blog. I usually post on a Wednesday & Sunday with new ideas & creations but regular readers may have noticed that there was no post mid week on the 23rd August. My sister has been very unwell, just coming out of palliative care this week & moving to a new nursing home where we hoped that her health would improve a little. 

With great sadness she lost her fight & left us on Friday. This has meant a huge loss for myself, my family & her children & grandchildren. As we come to terms with our loss & administer her estate I am taking a break from posting. I apologise for the break but we all need some time to mourn, support each other & accept where life takes us now.

I will return in a few weeks once life is a little more calm. Thank you for your understanding.

New creations with He's All That

I am trying to be good & use up old stock so I've included some DSP & diecuts when creating. I hope you enjoy them. These 2 will go into my stash for upcoming birthdays. Calendars & Christmas cards

 Welcome back everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely week. Melbourne is slowly getting back to 'normal' with families reconnecting, friends catching up and socialising back on track. Just in time too, with Christmas only 32 days away!! I hope you've been able to get started on your present shopping or maybe even finished? I've managed to cross a few more presents off my list thanks to the wonders of on-line shopping. I've also been making some more Christmas cards to add to my selling collection & had a lovely play with designs of mini calendars for an order from a colleague. Here's some pics of the calendars that I've made..... I'm very happy with how pretty the calendars turned out & hope my friend loves them too.  Now for some of the Christmas cards. 3D creations - gift boxes

I blog twice a week, once on a Sunday where I mainly showcase a stamp set or dies, embossing folders, projects & sometimes special DSP.  This week I have a 3D creation for you. Gift bags are wonderful for enclosing presents but sometimes you need a box to hold your items. This week I show you how to create 2 different sized boxes using the same method but different measurements. Both are very easy to make & once you start creating them you will find that a measurement tweak is all you need to make lots of different sized boxes to suit your needs.  This box will hold 4 or 5 cards depending on the size of the card. Tic Tac Toe challenge #174

Hello & welcome to my blog, My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. Today's blog is all about making a card using a Tic Tac Toe themed challenge. Using the grid below I looked back over my creations & found a very special card I had made for a workmate to give to his niece. I would normally make a new card but this week has been rather challenging with my Mum being hospitalised. We weren't sure whether she'd make it but with lots of fluids & exceptional care from the staff at her nursing home she looks to be on the mend.
