Hello & welcome to my blog, My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love.  I hope you all had a lovely time over Christmas. I had a great Christmas day at my Brother-in-laws then tidied the mess left over from getting ready for the big day while I watched the Boxing Day test. Perfect down time after the crazy few weeks build up to Christmas.  Today's blog shows you how to create this step card with a little pop up in the centre. I created this card for my 25/12/22 Sunday blog as the focus was on the cute Elephant Parade stamp set. I only touched on the card in that blog. Here are the detailed steps I took to create it.  Start with 2 regular 21 x 14.8cm card bases. Score one at 10.5 on the long side. Score the other one at 10.5 & 15.75. These will be the main section of the finished card. T

Hello, welcome to my blog & Merry Christmas to everyone! My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. Today's blog features a gorgeous new stamp set called Elephants on Parade. This had been in the catalogue since May but I've only just received it. It's a lovely set, I hope you love it too. I made 2 cards for you this week. One is a baby card for a friend who is due very early January. The other is a funfold step card. The first card I'll show you is the baby card. I used some old and some new for this little cutey. The matte & sentiment is Tahitian tide but the embossing folder is a retired one called Dandelions. It's very delicate & I thought it would be perfect for our little fella to sit under. I first added a little Tahitian Tide to the middle of the card front w

Hello & welcome to my blog, My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. Today's blog shows you how to use the Stampin' Up® Stamparatus stamping platform for multiple cards with the same design but you can also use it to ensure that stamps lay the ink down thoroughly on cardstock. Here are the steps I followed.......   This is the Stamparatus closed. It comes with 2 perspex wings that clip on at the top and side. I used only 1 for this project. It also as a black foam pad to use with photopolymer stamps that can be removed to use with rubber stamps. There are 2 very strong magnets included that I have attached some wide washi tape to so that moving them is easier. If you purchase one of these then you have to make sure that you keep the magnets well away from each other.  Once I had the s

Today's blog has some really cute papers & images that can be used for baby cards, kid's birthdays or for animal lovers. The DSP is called Happy Forest Friends, the stamp set is Happier than Happy & the matching dies are called Happy Forest dies. They all co-ordinate beautifully & make quick & easy cards or more intricate creations. This week I have 2 cards for you, one for a new baby & a celebration card. I hope you like them. The first card I created to welcome a new baby. It's a simple design but the papers & die cuts make it so easy to make. I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock & embossed it with the Timber embossing folder then used one of the circles from the Sty

Hello & welcome to my blog, My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. Today's blog shows you how to use DSP & alcohol markers to create some beautiful cards. I hope you enjoy this quick & easy way to get more out of your DSP. In last week's mid week blog I mentioned that I would be featuring the Stamparatus but I was asked create some gift card holders & decided to bump up a future blog post to this week instead. Here are 4 cards I created from one sheet of Celebrate Everything DSP. I used a variety of different green Stampin' Blends & Stampin' Write markers to give you an idea of the different kinds of effects you can create. Here's the paper before it was coloured..... I simply cut it into 4 card front sizes then set to work with the colours. The greens fo

I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. Today's blog shows you how to create a faux tile stamped image. But before I get started, let me first apologise for being 1 day late with this post. This time of the year is always crazy as I'm sure it is for many people and this week I've had 2 large orders for cards & gift wrapping that I needed to finish off which meant my time for finishing off this card for the blog was very limited. I'm just about finished with all the items but thank you for understanding. So onto the focus card.......  This is such an easy technique but looks so impressive. I hope you love it! So, to get started, I used a 14cm x 14cm kraft card base with a Starry Sky matte measuring 13.6cm x 13.6cm plus a Basic White matte measur
