Hello & welcome to my blog, My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia.  I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. I blog twice a week, once on a Sunday where I mainly showcase a stamp set or dies & sometimes special DSP. My second blog is mid week on a Wednesday where I look at techniques, colour challenges, card sketches, fun folds, tools & equipment & ways to make or improve your projects. That's what this blog is about. Today I will be showing you how to create some quick & easy cards for those times when you need a card quickly or for when you want to create a lot of cards without spending hours & hours slaving away at your crafting desk. In February I shared a set of cards with you that I had created using the Something Fancy dies & Hues of Happiness DSP. The following cards are the rest of the set of c

If this is your first time here, thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you. If you're a returning visitor, thank you so much for supporting me! 😍  This week I have a die with a difference. This pic shows some of the pop ups from the card I created. As you can see, not all of the area is raised but it's enough to give a 3D effect & highlight some pretty aspects of this die. Here's a full view of the slimline card. It's super easy to create the pop up effect with these dies. You can either press gently on the back with your fingers or for th

I started with a piece of Basic White, The Irresistible Blooms stamps & a post it note that I had stamped the large flower onto & cut out. This was then used to mask when stamping more flowers & leaves. The next s

The stamp set is the retired Brightest Beauty & the dies are Golden Beauty. The reason I chose this set is because the plant is an Acacia or Golden Wattle & we have loads of them around our suburb. It's a beautiful flowering plant that gives hayfever sufferers hell but luckily I don't suffer so I can enjoy the beautiful blooms! I hope you enjoy what I have for you today. Plus it looks gorgeous on the fro

That's what this blog is about. Today I will be sharing with you three different ways that you can care for your stamps. First up is the Stampin' Scrub. The Stampin' Scrub is my favourite method of cleaning stamps. I use this handy little tool the most as it's self contained in a sturdy carry case which has one side that cleans the stamps & the other that dries them off. The pads are removable if you want to wash the

If you are a regular to my blog you will know that about a month ago my Mum, who is 94, had a fall, ended up in hospital & subsequently had a hip operation. All went well for the first few days then she took a big nosedive & is now in palliative care.  This meant that I suspended my blogs to spend as much time with her as possible. All of our care & attention has helped to restore her health enough that I have returned to work, making cards & am hopeful that with so
