Tranquil thoughts & Hydrangea haven

Image
Hello everyone & welcome back to my blog. I returned to work this week & went away to a conference on day 2 so didn't have a lot of time for crafting. 😞 But I did get some lovely things made before I went back!!👏😁 First I made a gift for a dear friend which went straight into the post for her. I made a tri-fold card using the Tranquil thoughts stamp set, Stitched nested dies & Scripty embossing folder.                        To match that I added some simple stamped writing paper with matching envelopes.    Hopefully they'll be a hit & I might even get a letter back from her on it!  To continue on with highlighting some of the beautiful stamps & dies that I have, I chose to work with a beautiful new suite that is in the January to June mini catalogue. I've been wanting to get this suite out ever since I bought it but something has always come up instead. Now that I've made one set with it I can't wait to get started on some of the other paper

Darling donkeys & Chocolate!

Happy Sunday everyone! This week I've got a lot of lovely things to share with you. I was so busy making Chocolate Gift boxes that I didn't get time to post the pics of the Darling donkeys cards that I promised. Well, here they are now.... I just love the sweet expressions of the donkeys. 💝 And now here's the beautiful baby cards I made using the Baby Pull toys stamp set.... This card has a fold out strip that showcases the adorable animals in the stamp set. I used it for a colleagues new nephew. As you've probably guessed, this was for a new baby girl! The elephant was stamped twice & then fussy cut to give me a second one to add dimensionals to. The background was embossed with the dotty folder from the Wrapped in texture die set. I loved making the baby cards. 💓 Now onto Chocolate! With Valentines day not too far away I decided to create some sweet little boxes to pop a bar of chocolate into.  There are two sizes, one for the Lindt filled chocolate bar    Thes

Berry blessings

Hello everyone! Thank you for stopping by. I hope you've had a wonderful week & managed to enjoy some of the outdoors. Our weather this week has been typical Melbourne! Rain, hail (in some spots), sunshine, wind, warm, cold, you name it! It's been a good week to stay in & craft when the weather wasn't playing nice. In between putting up some new blinds in our home I managed to play around with a new stamp set & co-ordinating DSP that has been so easy to make beautiful cards with. The stamp set is called Berry blessings & the paper is from the Berry delightful pack, both of which are in the new Sale-a-bration catalogue.   Here's the 6 cards I've made so far using different colours to complement the papers.      For this card I used Pacific point, a beautiful royal blue shade to complement the blueberries in the paper. I chose Gorgeous grape for this card to highlight the raspberries.   Real red is perfect for the strawberries with the sentiment stamp

Forever ferns re-visited

Welcome back everyone, I hope you've all had a great week. I've had a lovely time playing with one of my favourite stamp & die sets, Forever Ferns SS & Forever Greenery dies. Last year I used these two together for the first time & loved all the projects I made but then I got new things to play with & didn't use them. I wanted to make some simple cards for my shop & had some pre-cut leaves so thought, why not combine the two?    For these four cards I started with a plain neutral card base, layered it with a white piece embossed with the Greenery embossing folder, added 4 different colour ways of leaves & finished with some coordinating ribbons. Lastly there is a simple stamped sentiment. The cards & envelopes are all finished inside with a matching image. These have been bundled together in an acetate gift box but can be purchased separately if need be. I'm very happy with how they turned out. 😊 For the next two I used some of the Forever
