Hello & welcome to my blog,
My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. I blog twice a week, once on a Sunday where I mainly showcase a stamp set or dies & sometimes special DSP. My second blog is mid week on a Wednesday where I look at techniques, colour challenges, card sketches, fun folds, tools & equipment & ways to make or improve your projects. That's what this blog is about.
Today I have used one of Stampin' Up®s kits called Card Keeper to create a beautiful box to store cards in so that you can be ready for any celebrations you may have. The kit comes with a ready to assemble foiled box, divider pieces, a sticker sheet for the dividers, card bases, envelopes & all of the images, ephemera & adhesives you need to create 8 cards & start your collection. Here are the finished cards & box.
I made 1 set of the cards as per the instructions then mixed up the remainder for a little variety.
The foiling on the box is stunning. It gives a very classy finish. To assemble the box, there are 3 tabs along the inside base of the box with 3M tape that you simply peel & stick down! Super quick & simple.
These two shots give you an idea of the size of the box which gives you lots of room to add many more cards.
The actual size of the box when completed is 21cm W x 16cm D x 16cm H.
This kit makes a great gift for someone with cards completed & maybe some extra ones included?
Or gift it to a friend to make themselves.
Or invite some friends over & have a card making day when they can complete the kit & other cards to create their own year's worth of cards, ready for the year to start.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this kit as it was easy, quick but stunning when completed. If you would like to purchase one of these kits then click

That's all I have for you this week. I will be back on Sunday to share some Christmas cards made with a non Christmas stamp set & co-ordinating punch.
In next week's mid week blog I will share some cards I created using another kit. This is a little different though as it started life as an advent calendar kit but I haven't used it for a calendar, instead I have created some Christmas cards with gift card holders. You'll have to check it out! I hope you can join me for both of them.
That's all I have for you this week. Til next time, take care & keep crafting!
XX Alison
