Mini Desk Calendars

 Welcome back!

I thought I'd share a photo of some mini desk calendars I've created for gifts. They're pretty easy to make & I think they turned out lovely. I used Stampin up Forever Blossoms, Forever fern & Lovely You products to make them & there are more to be done but this is a little sample of what I've created so far. 


I've also been busy making cards & gift boxes for birthdays (can't show you them yet as the recipient hasn't seen it & I don't want to spoil the surprise).  

I also tried a Starburst design for the first time & thoroughly enjoyed making them. This will be a design I might make a few more times, including some for Christmas cards. These cards were made using old card stock & DSP that I'm trying to use up as I have plenty to work with but never enough time to use it all!

Calendars & Christmas cards

 Welcome back everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely week. Melbourne is slowly getting back to 'normal' with families reconnecting, friends catching up and socialising back on track. Just in time too, with Christmas only 32 days away!! I hope you've been able to get started on your present shopping or maybe even finished? I've managed to cross a few more presents off my list thanks to the wonders of on-line shopping. I've also been making some more Christmas cards to add to my selling collection & had a lovely play with designs of mini calendars for an order from a colleague. New creations with He's All That

Tic Tac Toe challenge #174

Hello & welcome to my blog, My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. Today's blog is all about making a card using a Tic Tac Toe themed challenge. Using the grid below I looked back over my creations & found a very special card I had made for a workmate to give to his niece. I would normally make a new card but this week has been rather challenging with my Mum being hospitalised. We weren't sure whether she'd make it but with lots of fluids & exceptional care from the staff at her nursing home she looks to be on the mend. Mid Week Blog Series #11 - Make your own gift bags.

  Hello and welcome to my mid week blog, These mid week blogs are designed to be shorter than my Sunday blogs so that I can share techniques, card design or other tips and tricks with you. Today I will show you how to create your own gift bags. There's still a little time to make them for last minute Christmas presents but they also come in very handy during the year for birthdays & special occasions. Here are 3 bags I made earlier in the year so this is a refresher or for those who are visiting for the first time it's a newbie! LOL The first two were made from the one sheet of Peaceful Prints DSP but have been reversed to give different finishes. Here's a pic of the cutting & scoring instructions: This template was found on Connie Stewart's Simply Simple stampin blog & is the one I used to make the 2 bags. Fold & burnish all of the score lines then trim the small rectangles at both ends of the 1/2" fold & mitre off the edges. Now, using the 1 1
