Welcome to my blog & my first ever post!

 Hi everyone. 

Thanks for stopping by. I've loved creating & crafting for many years now but never had the courage to share much. My kids are moving out of home, only 1 left now, so I thought it's time to explore more of what makes me happy.

I've decided to step outside my comfort zone & create my own blog! I have no idea what I'm doing or how this will end up but I wanted to share some of my creations with other people & this seemed like a good way of doing it. 

Each week I will pop some pics on of what I've been busy with & explain a little bit about why, how or even who inspired me if that's the case.

Calendars & Christmas cards

 Welcome back everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely week. Melbourne is slowly getting back to 'normal' with families reconnecting, friends catching up and socialising back on track. Just in time too, with Christmas only 32 days away!! I hope you've been able to get started on your present shopping or maybe even finished? I've managed to cross a few more presents off my list thanks to the wonders of on-line shopping. I've also been making some more Christmas cards to add to my selling collection & had a lovely play with designs of mini calendars for an order from a colleague. Here's some pics of the calendars that I've made..... I'm very happy with how pretty the calendars turned out & hope my friend loves them too.  Now for some of the Christmas cards. New creations with He's All That

I am trying to be good & use up old stock so I've included some DSP & diecuts when creating. I hope you enjoy them. These 2 will go into my stash for upcoming birthdays. Tic Tac Toe challenge #174

Hello & welcome to my blog, My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. Today's blog is all about making a card using a Tic Tac Toe themed challenge. Using the grid below I looked back over my creations & found a very special card I had made for a workmate to give to his niece. I would normally make a new card but this week has been rather challenging with my Mum being hospitalised. We weren't sure whether she'd make it but with lots of fluids & exceptional care from the staff at her nursing home she looks to be on the mend. Male'ish' cards

 Hello everyone, Thanks for visiting my blog today. Now the title of today's blog may have you scratching your head 😕 but let me explain..... Last week I said I was going to create some cards for the boys as Father's day is close in Australia & I did have a play around, but... Once I'd finished them I thought, maybe they're not just for the boys, some would suit those who are not really into hearts & flowers, lavender & lace etc. So, here's my creations from this week.... I'm going to start with the order I made the cards in. The first one is the green trees...   This one was super easy. I started with some strips from the Beauty of the Earth DSP, mounting the plainer pattern on some Mango Melody cardstock, stamped a sentiment using the From All of Us stamp set & die cut using the smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes dies then punched some ovals in gold card using the Double Oval punch.
