Bouquet of hope card kit creations

Hello & good morning everyone from sunny Melbourne! We are in the middle of winter but you wouldn't know it by the gorgeous sunshine outside today. Feeling lucky to be alive today with the sunshine & the school holidays just started. 😍🌞 I've been very busy since last week making lots of cards using one of Stampin' Up's new card kits. They really are loads of fun & can be used to make the same designs as the instructions or to kick start a little creative fun! Here are the cards I made using the instructions: For the first 3 cards I followed the simple instructions included with the kit. All the embellishments, cut outs, dimensionals & glue dots are included in the kit so there was nothing needed except a stamping block. Easy peasy. The second set I created using some supplies already on hand plus items from the kit.  These 2 cards are in a similar layout to 2 of the first set but I've used some Merry Merlot scraps & white handmade paper for so

Hello & welcome to my blog, Well the yo-yo that is living in Melbourne has us being allowed out to the shops & the gyms but not allowed to have more than 2 people in our homes! I'm praying that we soon have some more definition with controlling COVID so we can get out and about without restrictions. That being said, restrictions do allow you more time to make cards!! I've had a lovely time this past week playing around with the Wild Cats stamp set & Big Cats dies & have come up with 3 very different styles of cards for you. One of my friends is an art teacher so I try to make her cards a little more special. I decided this year to create a diorama card using the stamps & dies. The box for the diorama is Soft Suede card stock embossed with the Woodland Embossing folder. I created an accordian fold for the side pieces to which some of the greenery & cats are stuck to. I die cut the greenery in Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce & scraps of different gr

Hello, welcome if you're visiting for the first time & thanks for visiting my blog if you're returning, This week I've had a bumper time in the craft room. I joined a One Sheet Wonder online session organised by the very talented Nancy Stollnitz Hoetker to help us through another lockdown in Melbourne. I used up some of my leftover Berry Delightful DSP to make some gorgeous cards for my shop & also utilised some in the cards I have for you this week.  I used some of the DSP as a background for the 2 cards, one using Pear Pizzazz & Real Red matts, the other using Basic white to make the DSP really stand out. The little box was made using a mini pizza box with some Real Red & Daffodil Delight, a strawberry to match cut out with the Strawberry builder punch & some cute little flowers coloured using the new Pale Papaya ink & markers. Such a cute little set. This next card is a design that I don't make very often but produces a stunning result. It

Hello everyone,  Thanks for stopping by. I hope you're well & able to find some time to create, unwind & enjoy life. This week I had so much fun playing around with one of Stampin' Up's new card kits. SU have released little kits full of goodies that enable you to make 8 or 9 cards but you don't have to make sets all the same, you can play around like I did, using the kit as a base & create lots of different designs. Here's what I have for you this week.  How pretty are the rainbow colours? This set is made with the same 2 basic items, rainbow fronted card base & white die cut butterfly layer. The kit includes everything you need to make 3 cards like the one on the right so you can just stick & go if that's what you want. I wanted to play a little so I came up with these other two cards by blending & stamping.   The card on the left uses the Soft Spring stamp set in Soft Sea Foam & Fresh Freesia as a background for the butterflies to
