Bouquet of hope card kit creations

Hello & good morning everyone from sunny Melbourne!

We are in the middle of winter but you wouldn't know it by the gorgeous sunshine outside today. Feeling lucky to be alive today with the sunshine & the school holidays just started. 😍🌞

I've been very busy since last week making lots of cards using one of Stampin' Up's new card kits. They really are loads of fun & can be used to make the same designs as the instructions or to kick start a little creative fun!

Here are the cards I made using the instructions:

For the first 3 cards I followed the simple instructions included with the kit. All the embellishments, cut outs, dimensionals & glue dots are included in the kit so there was nothing needed except a stamping block. Easy peasy.

The second set I created using some supplies already on hand plus items from the kit.

These 2 cards are in a similar layout to 2 of the first set but I've used some Merry Merlot scraps & white handmade paper for something a little different.

For the third card I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot using the Oval Occasions stamp set, cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies then used some of the Flower & Field DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue earlier this year as the matting for the card. To finish it I added a Merry Merlot detail using the Painted Labels dies & a square vellum doily behind the sentiment. The colours matched beautifully.

And now for the third & final set:

I again used the card bases & some of the embellishments from the kit & added some supplies from my stash. The Happy Birthday card uses the reverse of the gold trim from the kit & I added the sentiment using the Well Written dies in Merry Merlot. 'Thinking of you' has a mat made from the 2021-23 In Colour shimmer vellum & the swirl behind the flowers was cut using the Painted Labels dies.

The final card is a little more special with a mat cut from the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate (whew, what a mouthful!) but I used the reverse, silver side. I mounted the sentiment from the Oval Occasions stamp set on some more of the Merry Merlot (a bit obsessed with this do you think?πŸ˜‚) & some sparkle for the centres of the flowers with the 2021-23 In Colour jewels.

I had so much fun creating with this card kit. It really is very versatile and matches all the colours in the Annual Catalogue. I hope you enjoyed seeing my creations from the kit. Next week I will be creating using the Mountain Air Stamp set & Majestic Mountains dies so there should be some male cards but I'll also play around to see what other things I can create.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you can come back next week. If there's anything you'd like to purchase from this weeks blog or if you'd like me to send you a catalogue, please visit my shop at alisonculliver.stampinup.net or send me a message via facebook at Crafted by Alison.

Take care, see you soon.... Alison
