On Stage @ Home creations

Hello & welcome to my blog,

If this is your first visit, I hope you enjoy it & come back again. If you are returning, welcome back & thank you! As I mentioned in my previous blog, last week I participate in Stampin' Up's On Stage event where demonstrator's achievements were recognised & the new brochures were unveiled PLUS we got to craft along with international demonstrators & staff from Head Office. We also made some cards using the new products we were able to purchase in an early release. Such lovely stamps & dies made it easy to create a whole heap of lovely cards! There's quite a few to show today so I won't go into my usual detail of how I made them & what I used.

Here are the sets I made following along with the SU staff on the day. Each of these sets has a 'follow the instructions' card and a slightly different 'crafted by Alison' version.

All of these cards were made using the one stamp set - Blessings of Home & the one pack of DSP - Heart & Home! Both of these items will be available to purchase from 4th January 2022 in the new January to June Mini Catalogue. If you would like to purchase items earlier than this, demonstrators are able to order from the 1st December. There's also a great joining offer on right now. When you join you pay $130 but can order items to the value of $235! WOW. Great bargain if you're interested in getting your supplies at a discount every time you order plus access to new products before most other crafters.

To make these cards I've used simple stamping combined with some die-cutting & the middle cards were coloured using a new technique shown to us during On Stage. After stamping the image I used a Sponge Dauber (the little sponge that goes on your fingertip) to gently flick ink upwards from the centre of each petal or leaf to give it a graduated colour. Pretty simple but very effective.
I also tried a slightly different way of adding dimension to the card front in the first two cards. I placed dimensionals on the corners of the DSP & tape in the centre. This meant that when I added the sentiment, with dimensionals also, it meant the front was all the same 3D height. Again, a very simple trick.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my creations this week.
If you would like me to send you a catalogue please send me a message on my FaceBook page at Crafted by Alison.
If you would like to order any of the materials I used in today's cards I've popped a link down below for you that goes directly to my Stampin' Up shop.
If you would like to buy any of the cards I show in my blogs they are available in my shop on FaceBook as well.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed the cards and come back for more. Til next time, take care & keep creating! XX Alison
