Disruption to my regular blog

Hi everyone,

Thank you for visiting but unfortunately there won't be a blog from me today. Even though my Mum made it through hip surgery & returned to her nursing home she has unfortunately deteriorated & the staff are not expecting her to be with us for very much longer. As such, though I intended to finish off the planned cards for this blog, my focus has been on spending time with Mum. 

I feel that the next few weeks will be busy & difficult so I'm taking a little bit of time off from posting but will be back in a few weeks when things are better.

Mid Week blog #37 Birdhouse fun fold

  Hello & welcome to my Mid Week blog, I am an independant Stampin' Up® demonstrator with a passion for creating. I have a regular weekly blog on a Sunday that explores different stamp sets, die sets or products sold by Stampin' Up® and my Mid Week blog explores tips, techniques, card sketches, colour challenges & lots of other ideas to help you make the most of your crafting time. There are ideas for 'just starting out' crafters, 'in-betweeners' and more avid crafters.  This week I have a super easy fun fold for you called a Bird House fold.  I started with some Crumb Cake cardstock to create a regular portrait card base & scored it in half. Midweek blog #159 - Ode to our darling Buddy

 Hello everyone,  Thank you for stopping by my blog. Usually I have a post mid week about techniques, tips or tools to help you learn more about creating cards & 3D projects. This week's post was meant to be about a card technique but I'm sorry that there will be no post. Our family has been blessed with the most amazing soul who has brought love, happiness, laughter, kindness & support in the guise of our family dog - Buddy. He has graced our world for 17 years & brought happiness to everyone who has known him.  Over the last few years Buddy has gotten old & with that comes aged health concerns. We have nurtured & nursed him as best we can but these last few months his health has declined to a point where we can no longer bear to see his struggles. We have had to make the agonising decision to say goodbye to him to allow him to have some peace. Today we said goodbye.
