New creations with He's All That

 Hello, welcome to my blog,

My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. If this is your first time here, thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you. If you're a returning visitor, thank you so much for supporting me! 😍

This week's cards are created using the He's All That stamp set & the co-ordinating dies, All That. I am trying to be good & use up old stock so I've included some DSP & diecuts when creating. I hope you enjoy them.

These 2 will go into my stash for upcoming birthdays. Male cards are always a premium aren't they? Here's how I made them.

For the blue card I started with a Blueberry Bushel card base & added 2 mattes, one Night of Navy & one DSP from Rings of Love. I decided to offset them a little for a slightly different effect. They both have a stitched border after being diecut with the Stitched Rectangles dies. The sentiment is from the stamp set, embossed with white embossing powder then diecut with one of the All That dies. To finish off I used some retired Rhinestone Waves basic jewels. Such a quick & easy card.

For the next card I went for the brown hues. The card base is Soft Suede & has the front scored in half & folded back. I added a strip of DSP also from Rings of Love which teams nicely with the colours. The sentiment & inside matte are Very Vanilla. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede & used another die for the shape. this was added to a piece of Soft Suede, embossed with the Timber embossing folder. Before adhering the sentiment I diecut some small detailed squares in Early Espresso to place behind. To add some stability, plus a place to add another sentiment, I added another embossed piece on the inside, including a slip between the two layers to even out the thickness. The sentiment, banner & tree are all from the He's the Man specialty DSP pack.

So that's it for the cards. Both are quick & easy but will definitely come in handy for birthdays or for customers. There are also embellished envelopes to match which I love to include with each creation.

In the previous weeks blogs I posted the pics of some of the cards that were created during the Online Stamping Retreat I attended in April. As there are lots of family things happening at the moment I will share another one next week.

My next blog is on Wednesday where I will feature a card CASE'd from the current catalogue. It's always fun re-creating the designers cards. Next week's Sunday blog is a new stamp set called Circle Sayings that has a wonderfully versatile 2 3/8" (6cm) punch.  I hope you can join me for both of those.

Well, that's it for another week. I hope you enjoyed this post & come back for more next week. Til next time, take care & keep creating! XX Alison.
