Circle Sayings thank you cards

 Hello, welcome to my blog,

My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. If this is your first time here, thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you. If you're a returning visitor, thank you so much for supporting me! 😍

This week's cards are created using the lovely Circle Sayings stamp set. The set comes with lots of semi-circle images & sentiments & is complimented with a 2 3/8" (6cm) punch. The set goes really well with other stamps & embossing folders that I already have in my stash so I decided to make 2 cards using retired By the Bay DSP, Seashells embossing folder & the new Twisted Rope embossing folder. I hope you like them.

I chose beachy, earthy colours for both of the cards & different layouts.

The first card is all about the shells. The base is Coastal Cabana, the matte is By the Bay DSP & the circles are Night of Navy, Crumb Cake & Basis White. I used the Stylish Shapes dies for the circles & embossed them with the Seashells embossing folder. The sentiment is stamped in Crumb Cake then coloured with lots of earthy, beachy toned blends. To add some bling and a sandy effect I added Wink of Stella to the embossed circles.

This card is a very simple layout. On a Night of Navy card base I added a matte embossed with the Twisted Rope embossing folder then a strip of By the Bay DSP. I loved this pattern as it has holographic strips running across it & the image reminds me of waves crashing in the ocean. 😁

The sentiment & image are both stamped in Blueberry Bushel & punched with the co-ordinating punch. I looped some Starry Sky woven metallic ribbon behind then mounted with dimensionals. A really pretty card with minimal work or fuss.
