Happy 2021! Welcome to what will hopefully be a wonderful year for everyone. I hope you are all well & enjoyed celebrating with friends or family & are rested up for a new year of challenges & possibilities. We're not quite done with COVID yet with NSW still in trouble & Vic going back into restrictions but I'm confident that we've done it before & learnt from it so this time around (round 3!) it won't be as bad.
I was lucky enough to have Mum over for a belated Christmas lunch which she thoroughly enjoyed before her Nursing home went back into lockdown with the latest COVID flare-up making it important to again protect some of our most vulnerable people. Fingers crossed it doesn't last too long this time.
Meanwhile I've been very happy playing around with some new papers that will be available from the 5th January in the Sale-a-bration catalogue called Paper blooms. These beautiful floral papers go with so many different colours in the Stampin' up® range that making cards is easy as! I've only cut up one sheet so far using Kylie Bertucci's #loveitchopit technique & even though I've made 9 cards I still have loads more to do!
As you can see the paper is so versatile, co-ordinating beautifully with pinks, blues & greens & nearly all are unique in style or sentiments. Really looking forward to sharing more of the paper with you in future posts. I've already sent off 2 of the cards to my girlfriends 🤣 but the rest will be available to purchase on my FB business page if you're interested.
I started on another sheet from this pack but only had time to create 2 more cards so far.
I'm really looking forward to sharing more pics with you as I create with the rest of this pack. If you'd like to see the new mini catalogue or the Sale-a-bration catalogue, please let me know & I'll send one out to you.
To finish off this post I just wanted to share a couple more cards with you.
This is the first card I made using the Blossoms in bloom stamp set & co-ordinating Many Layered Blooms dies. It was for my daughter's birthday & I just love how the black overlay makes the other colours 'pop' so brightly. There will definitely be more cards made using these sets.
Well, today I'm heading down the coast with my husband for some sunshine & market browsing. Well that's my theory anyway, as long as the Bureau of Meteorology has got the weather forecast wrong again! Fingers crossed. 🤞
Til next week......
Love & kisses, Alison
