Love you more than......

Welcome back & thanks for visiting my blog.

My week has been a mixture of busy & relaxed. Thursday saw an early finish for the end of term 1! Yay!! School holidays are so looked forward to after a busy time with the kids.  But these school holidays I'm spending a lot of time packing up most of our house as we're getting some floating floors put in the first day back to school. Sorting, culling, boxing & reliving memories. Rob's busy with banging in any floorboards that are a bit squeaky or loose & there are boxes all over the place. Thankfully I don't have to pack up my craft room again! In addition to that I had a work birthday buddy & the focus cards to create. Here's what I created this week....

I had a lot of fun re-visiting this set. I decided to use a mini-pizza box to go with the coffee card so I can pop a few coffee bags inside as a small gift. This set could be for a birthday or just for a tired looking friend! I used Early Espresso, Cinnamon Cider & Basic White for the cards in both the card stock and the inks. To add a little contrast I decided to add a little ribbon in the Just Jade gingham. I think it's pretty cute & will make a nice little gift.

Next up is Cocktails!!!

I LOOOVE these colours & the gorgeous cocktail die cut. The summery colours are Bermuda Bay & Coastal Cabana with a splash of Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay & Daffodil Delight for the cocktails themselves. I used a little of the Brights DSP in Bermuda Bay backed with Coastal Cabana to give the card a different detail. To finish it off I added some pearls & some dots of Shimmery Crystal effects. Love how it turned out!

Another favourite of mine is the Hydrangea Haven stamp set & Hydrangea Hill DSP. Mum & Dad had hydrangeas at my childhood home & the papers bring back lots of memories.

At work we have a limit on what we can spend on our birthday buddy so I created a sleeve for
a block of Maltesers chocolate, similar to the boxes I made for Valentines day but open at the ends. I used Purple Posy, Gorgeous Grape, Soft Sea Foam & Pear Pizzazz for the flowers & Sentiments which were from the Monogram Messages & Fancy Phrases stamp sets.  For the name I used some alphabet blocks a friend brought back from America for me & chose Seaside Spray to pick out the blues in the paper. The sentiments were die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies & to finish off the card I added a gold hoop from the Forever Greenery suite, fussy cut a bouquet to add to it & some gold ribbon from the Fine Art collection & Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate gardens suite.

I hope you enjoyed my creations this week. Next week I'll be creating something from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. There's only a few weeks left of our current Annual Catalogue so if there's anything you'd like to order before things are retired then send me a message or visit my online store at alisonculliver.stampinup.net

Well, that's it for another week. I'm off to do some more packing! Have a wonderful week & if you're also on school holidays, take care on the roads. Bye for now.... Alison XX
