Discovering Eden's Garden

Hello & welcome to my blog,

If this is your first visit, I hope you enjoy it & come back again. If you are returning, welcome back & thank you! This week I will show you the beautiful new stamp set, Eden's Garden that is being released in just 2 more days!!!! This is one of those very versatile stamp sets that may just become a staple in your collection.

There are loads of Christmas themed cards on Pinterest & the net from last year showcasing Eden's Garden but I designed some cards to show you that it can easily be used throughout the year.

My first design is very simple, just some blues & white & some cute little brass butterflies.

I started with a Basic White base then a Misty Moonlight matte. I then stamped in Misty Moonlight on the card front before stamping another image on scrap cardstock & fussy cutting it to layer over the top with some dimensionals. I had a thin strip of Night of Navy that I'd cut off of a card that was too wide & used that to give a little twist to the layout. I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy & punched it out using the Double Oval punch & mounting over the strips. All I had to do then was add a few of the gorgeous little Brushed Brass Butterfly embellishments & the card was finished.

For the second card I wanted to use some bright colours so chose Daffodil Delight as the matte. I used Evening Evergreen & a different image for the foliage & added some Daffodil Delight dots all around the leaves with the Stampin' Blends & realised that I'd accidentally created some wattle! I kept the sentiment simple this time, stamping straight onto the card front but added a little pizzazz with some Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check ribbon. Simple but still gorgeous.

Below is a card I made late last year for my Mid Week blog #7 - Cutaway card fronts & an example of how to use this stamp set for Christmas Cards. Links for the products used are in the Mid Week blog.

As you can see this stamp set is very versatile. I love it! It's only available during the Jan - June '22 Mini Catalogue unless Stampin' Up® find it's really popular & decide to keep it. Fingers crossed.

I hope you enjoyed this week's blog & find time to come back next week too. Don't forget that I also have a mid week blog where I highlight different techniques, layouts or tips & tricks. This week I will be showing you how to create 3 different cards from the same design by simply 'Steppin' Up' what you do. I hope you can join me for that.

If you would like me to send you a catalogue please send me a message on my FaceBook page at Crafted by Alison.
If you would like to order any of the materials I used in today's cards I've popped some links down below for you that go directly to my Stampin' Up shop. Just a little reminder though that some items will only be available from the launch of the new Mini Catalogue on the 4th January. These are the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) & the Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon (#158135).
If you would like to buy any of the cards I show in my blogs they are available in my shop on FaceBook as well or you can message me to check if they are still available.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed the cards and come back for more. Til next time, take care & keep creating! XX Alison
