Introducing the 'Limited Edition' stamp set!

Hello & welcome to my blog!

I am an independant Stampin' Up® demonstrator & get immense joy from creating for myself, my friends & customers. Thanks for stopping by. I'm so glad you could visit my blog & I hope you find something to inspire you from my creations this week.

The stamp set I am featuring this week is called Limited Edition. It's a stamp set with a difference. Stampin' Up® have an amazing range of stamp sets which are all copyrighted to the company. Whenever their stamps are used to create a saleable item they require that the card features a ©Stampin' Up. They have created a whole set of stamps with this in mind but the stamp set is so much more than adding a copyright symbol to our creations. Here's some other ways of using this unique little stamp set.

With sentiments including 'A Paper Hug From Me', 'Just For You' & 'Made With Love' my thoughts immediately turned to gift giving! With that idea in my head I used items on hand such as the retired Mini Pizza boxes & a plain white lolly/party favour bag to create some gift giving items.

These notelets took very little time to make. I simply cut 6 pieces of Basic White cardstock 6" x 3" & folded in half for the card base. I then chose the stunning Pretty Prints DSP in Bermuda Bay, cut to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 & adhered it to the card front. I stamped Just For You & A Paper Hug From Me in Bermuda Bay on Basic White then die cut them with the crimped Layering Circles dies. Before adding them to the card front I cut up some foliage from the retired Forever Gold Specialty laser cut papers & reversed them so the white was showing. They were then added to the card front along with a couple of tiny pearls. I repeated the design with the top of the mini pizza box but cut it to suit the size of the box & added a larger pearl as well. All of the cards along with matching envelopes will fit inside the box & make a lovely gift.

The second project with this set was to jazz up a plain white gift bag. I chose two of the new 2022-2024 In Colours - Tahitian Tide & Starry Sky as they are so bright & gorgeous. The image is from the new Colour & Contour stamp set & is stamped in Tahitian Tide with some Starry Sky daubed directly onto the stamp with the sponge daubers then die cut with the co-ordinating Scalloped Contour dies. The matting was also die cut with the Scalloped Contour dies. I raised the image with some dimensionals which allowed me to tie some Starry Sky Metallic woven ribbon around the stem along with a gift tag punched with the Decorative Label punch. So simple but it sure does add some WOW to a plain old white bag. I will be making a card to go with this bag as well.

There are so many more ways that you can use the Limited Edition stamp set but I'll share more of them with you in later blogs. They will certainly come in handy during the holiday season!

For now, that's all I have for you but on Wednesday I'll be sharing a Card Sketch & next week I'll be showcasing the beautiful Honeybee Home stamp set, Honeybee Blooms dies & Hive embossing folder. I hope you can join me for both of those.
