More creations with Merriest Moments

Hello & welcome to my blog,

My name is Alison & I am an independent Stampin' Up® demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create some beautiful cards with the Merriest Moments collection. I previously showed you some cards using this set but I had so many more ideas buzzing around in my head that I had to create more things! This time though, it's not cards but gift tags.

These were so quick & easy to make. They all follow the same theme but are different.

JOY

For the first tag I used Garden Green & Basic White cardstock. I used a strip of Garden Green & the Timber embossing folder to create a nice textured piece. With the Tailor Made Tags dies I diecut one Garden Green & one Basic White tag. I also used the tiny eyelet die from the same set to create a contrast eylet in Garden Green. I then stamped leaves, greenery & a poinsettia with Garden Green, Real Red & Mango Melody & used the masking technique so that the greenery was in the background. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black. With the two tags together I threaded a piece of Real Red Chevron Weave ribbon & the tag was finished.

This tag uses red & green again but this time I used Granny Apple Green & Real Red. The flowers were stamped in Real Red & Daffodil delight then diecut. The sentiment is again stamped with Memento Black. I then stamped a sprig of Granny Apple Green onto the tag then stamped another one directly onto Granny Apple Green before diecutting. The diecut leaf has mini gluedots to raise it slightly. The first leaf also has mini glue dots where it touches the tag but multi-purpose glue where it touches the greenery. The second flower has 2 layers of mini glue dots where it touches the first flower but dimensionals to adhere to the tag. The ribbon this time is Real Red Stitched Grossgrain which was released when the Playful Pets suite first came out.

For the last tag I decided to try something a little different so used Kraft Paper & White Glimmer paper for the tags. On the Kraft paper I heat embossed the sentiment in white. The greenery is stamped in Evening Evergreen before being diecut. The ribbon is Evening Evergreen Braided Linen trim.

I had a lot of fun creating these tags & will definitely be creating more. I hope that you've enjoyed this week's blog & will join me again on Wednesday to see some more ideas for gift wrapping as Christmas is very close now. In next week's blog I will have some Christmas cards made using scraps. I hope you can join me for both of them.

That's it for another week. Thanks so much for stopping by. If you would like to order any of the supplies I used today you can head over to my Stampin' Up® shop using the links below. Please note that there are some supplies I used this week that are not available any more as they are retired stock. That doesn't mean you can't recreate your own version of these cards though! Just swap out the retired items for whatever you have in your stash.

If you would like to purchase any of my creations that I feature in my blogs they can be found in my FaceBook shop at craftedbyalison or you can or order something unique.

If you would like me to send you a catalogue then please message me via my FaceBook page, Crafted by Alison or send me an email at craftedbyalison@gmail.com.
