Sweet treats using the Share A Milkshake stamps & dies

Hello & welcome to my blog,

My name is Alison & I live in beautiful Melbourne, Australia. For those of you who have previously visited my blog & are now returning, thank you. For those of you who are here for the first time, welcome!

Here's a little bit about me. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. I blog twice a week, once on a Sunday where I mainly showcase a stamp set or dies, embossing folders, projects & sometimes special DSP and Wednesday evenings when I highlight a technique, fun folds or tools & tips. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions or suggestions & my email address for that is craftedbyalison@gmail.com.

Today's creations will leave you craving some sweet treats! There are ice creams, sundaes & milkshakes on offer with my latest creations.

How yummy does this card look!!! It reminds me of an American soda shop. 😍
This was created using Starry Sky for the base & centre matte & Celebrate Everything DSP. I used 2 different sizes of the Deckled Rectangles dies for a little point of interest for the mattes. The milkshake is stamped in Balmy Blue - 1st stamping for the outline & 2nd stamping for the filler. The frothy bubbles is stamped in Lemon Lolly & the straw is Poppy Parade. Did you notice that the straw is poking into the froth? That little slit is cut with the die. Cool! I wanted a vibrant sundae so chose Berry Burst, Lemon Lolly & Polished Pink for the ice creams with a Real Red cherry on top. The bowl is stamped in Lemon Lime Twist & Granny Apple Green. For a little bit of pop I heat embossed the sentiment.  The dies To finish off I added a few 2022-24 In Colour Pearls. The teeny little spoon is stamped in Smoky Slate & I tucked it into the edge of the bottom scoop of ice cream. Mmmmm, ice cream! 🤤🍨

For my second card I decided to create a fun fold or a tri fold to be exact. I started with Granny Apple Green for the base & matched it up with some Bright & Beautiful DSP for the matting. The ice cream cone was created with a die from the bundle & Crumb Cake cardstock which I added some Pecan Pie blending to. The lattice behind it is also diecut using the dies with some Pecan Pie cardstock. I chose just the one 'flavour' inside the cone - Lemon Lolly & topped it off with a Poppy Parade cherry to match the sentiment inside. The enamel dots are some of the last of my 2020-22 In Colour dots. I stamped the sentiment in Pecan Pie directly onto the DSP.

I used the Deckled Circles dies for the Granny Apple Green matte & stamped the sentiment & matching cherries inside in Poppy Parade. The stem of the cherries was drawn freehand with the Garden Green Stampin' Write marker.

I love how they turned out & will definitely be creating more with this bundle.

A lot of demonstrators use the special Host Code for their customers but I'm trying it this year as a new idea to see if this is what you, my customers would like to use. If you shop with me then don't forget to use this month's host code FPEXGVDF. This will allow me to pass on any hostess benefits to customers when the sales reach the required qualifying amount.

Lastly, there have been lots of new items added to the clearance rack so make sure you check them out using the link above to my online store.
