Calendars & Christmas cards

 Welcome back everyone,

I hope you've all had a lovely week. Melbourne is slowly getting back to 'normal' with families reconnecting, friends catching up and socialising back on track. Just in time too, with Christmas only 32 days away!! I hope you've been able to get started on your present shopping or maybe even finished? I've managed to cross a few more presents off my list thanks to the wonders of on-line shopping. I've also been making some more Christmas cards to add to my selling collection & had a lovely play with designs of mini calendars for an order from a colleague. Here's some pics of the calendars that I've made.....

I'm very happy with how pretty the calendars turned out & hope my friend loves them too.

Now for some of the Christmas cards. I really loved the cards I've previously shown you using the Tag Buffet, Ornamental Envelope  & Christmas Gleaming stamp sets & wanted to have a play around with some different designs from those sets. Here's what I came up with.....

I used a stamp with greenery sprigs to create these wreath cards & added a tiny bit of bling with some gold detailing. Loving the Christmassy reds & greens! 💚

This gorgeous card & envelope set was made using sentiments & an ornament stamp from the Tag Buffet & Christmas Gleaming sets but the envelope has a co-ordinating flap made with matching DSP which I made using the Envelopes dies that co-ordinate with the Ornamental Envelope stamp set. It's amazing how many different looks & ideas you can get by combining different products.

The last of the crafty things I've been doing this week is making gift boxes & Christmas crackers. I played around with papers & sizes & next week I have a huge amount of them to make for Christmas & for a gentleman at Mum's nursing home. The crackers will be filled with hand creams or Mist bottles from Body Shop & the boxes will have chocolates, home made bickies or gift cards in them. I'll have photos for you next time.

I wrote last week about a new technique I was going to try using blocks & ink pads. Well, I need to work a little bit more on that as it didn't turn out as nicely as the video example did!

😞 Never mind, that's how we learn isn't it?

Well that about does it for me today. I need to head off to Spotlight to order some new blinds for the house in readiness for the hotter weather that's just around the corner. I also need some more material for some gifts for my girls. Sewing day tomorrow!

If you would like to purchase any of the cards or calendars you've seen on my blog or would like to order some boxes, crackers or have something custom made then please get in touch, I'd love to help you out.

Thanks for stopping by & have a lovely week.

XXX Alison
