Mid Weel blog #72

 Hi everyone,

For those of you who regularly follow my blog, thank you for visiting today. You may have read Sunday's blog where I talked about how I hadn't been able to complete that blog as Mum had had a fall & broken her hip. Well good & bad news. Good news is that the Doctors were able to operate successfully to repair her hip & she survived the anaesthetic at the age of 94! As wonderful as that news is the flip side is that it has meant I have needed to visit her daily around my work hours as she has been very disoriented in a strange environment. This has left me very little time to complete my scheduled blogs. More good news though is that she went home to her nursing home today! We were so happy with this news.

All that aside, I regrettably wasn't able to have my scheduled blog tonight but with Mum back this will allow me to return to my regular crafting. My sincere apologies for missing two posts in a row. 

On Sunday I will be featuring the Seaside Bay bundle & next Wednesday's mid week blog will discuss how to clean your stamps. Thanks for understanding my troubles, I hope you can come back to see both of this week's blogs.

New creations with He's All That

I am trying to be good & use up old stock so I've included some DSP & diecuts when creating. I hope you enjoy them. These 2 will go into my stash for upcoming birthdays. 3D creations - gift boxes

I blog twice a week, once on a Sunday where I mainly showcase a stamp set or dies, embossing folders, projects & sometimes special DSP.  This week I have a 3D creation for you. Gift bags are wonderful for enclosing presents but sometimes you need a box to hold your items. This week I show you how to create 2 different sized boxes using the same method but different measurements. Both are very easy to make & once you start creating them you will find that a measurement tweak is all you need to make lots of different sized boxes to suit your needs.  This box will hold 4 or 5 cards depending on the size of the card. Calendars & Christmas cards

 Welcome back everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely week. Melbourne is slowly getting back to 'normal' with families reconnecting, friends catching up and socialising back on track. Just in time too, with Christmas only 32 days away!! I hope you've been able to get started on your present shopping or maybe even finished? I've managed to cross a few more presents off my list thanks to the wonders of on-line shopping. I've also been making some more Christmas cards to add to my selling collection & had a lovely play with designs of mini calendars for an order from a colleague. Here's some pics of the calendars that I've made..... I'm very happy with how pretty the calendars turned out & hope my friend loves them too.  Now for some of the Christmas cards.
