Midweek blog#187 - Tips for fussy cutting ahead of World Fussy Cutting Day

Hello & welcome to my blog.

My name is Alison & I live in beautiful Melbourne, Australia.

For those of you who have previously visited my blog & are now returning, thank you. For those of you who are here for the first time, welcome!

Here's a little bit about me. I love creating cards & gifts for my loved ones & this blog will show you how to create something special for those you love. I blog twice a week, once on a Sunday where I mainly showcase a stamp set or dies, embossing folders, projects & sometimes special DSP and Wednesday evenings when I highlight a technique, fun folds or tools & tips. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions or suggestions & my email address for that is craftedbyalison@gmail.com.

Today I am sharing some tips with you for fussy cutting as 25th October is officially World Fussy Cutting Day! Hehe. I actually saw this post thanks to Sheri Ballantyne who created a Facebook page called World Fussy Cutting Day in honour of a friend who passed earlier this year from a heart attack. You can access their page here for more information.

There were 5 tips posted to encourage people to give fussy cutting a go or to just enjoy it more.

On the Facebook page they also have 4 pdfs that you can print out & practice your fussy cutting on. Gotta love a freebie, especially when it's offered to raise awareness of women's heart health.

To access the files, click here or visit their page. I think this is a great initiative & should be supported & encouraged. I hope you take some time to check out the downloadable sheets & maybe even spend some quiet time practicing your cutting.

That's all I have for you this time.

My next post will be on Sunday when I will be sharing a Mystery Stamping opportunity. I have shared Mystery Stamping before - on 19/2/2525/5/25 & they are always a fun way to learn & create.

In my next mid week blog I will create again with the Colour Coach Cards.

I hope you can join me for both of them.

Til next time, take care & keep creating! XX Alison
